Bonnie Kubacka earned her Bachelor degree in Music Education from Emporia State University in 1988. In twenty eight years of teaching, she has taught a full range of music courses at the pre-K through high school levels. She has taught at the elementary level for the past 20 years.
Mrs. K has been selected USD #365 Teacher of the Year for the elementary level, KMEA Southeast District Elementary Teacher of the Year, and Greeley Pride Teacher of the Year. She is a member of Music Educators National Conference and Kansas Music Educators Association. Additionally, Mrs. Kubacka's performing groups have had the honor of being selected to perform at the Kansas Music Educators In-Service Workshop.
Community organizations include Beta Sigma Phi and Boy Scout Troop 126, in which she serves as troop committee secretary. Bonnie recently completed her Wood Badge training through the BSA Heart of America Council.
The Kubacka family enjoys Scouting activities and spending time together at their home in the country east of Garnett.
