Hello, my name is Kim Miller. This is my sixth year teaching at Garnett Elementary School. For twelve years previously, I taught a combination third/fourth grade class at Greeley Elementary School in the Garnett School District. I graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1992.
I am married to Brad Miller. We have been happily married for 17 years. My husband and I are blessed with six neices, three nephews, two godsons and one goddaughter. They are the "joy" of our lives.
I love to read, travel, shop go to movies, and spend time with family and friends. My husband and I also enjoy volunteering at New Horizon's Therapeutic Riding Ranch in Rantoul, KS. It is a therapeutic horse ranch that provides children with special needs the opportunity to grow and learn through riding horses. It is a wonderful mission in which we are proud to participate.
I love my school kids and enjoy spending time with them. It is so much fun teaching them and watching them grow and progress in their learning. I am so blessed to be able to share life with them each day!
