PE Olympic Fun

Bullpups have been enjoying Mrs. Martin’s version of PE Olympics in February.  Below see some of the fun PE Monosled, Bobsled, and Curling teams.

GES SPELLING BEE

 

GES had an exciting spelling bee.   Following are photos of representatives from grades 4-6, and our winners.  The 2022 Champion is Ashton Rouse and the runner up is Hope Pract.  They will represent GES at the Anderson County Spelling Bee at the end of January.

GRADE 6 QUIZ BOWL

 

Congrats to Mrs. Scott’s 6th grade team which took first place at the recent USD #365 Quiz Bowl.   Mrs. Graham’s team was 2nd place.  All GES teams competed well answering the difficult questions.

FIRE SAFETY

Several local firemen recently came to GES to visit with our kindergarten and grade 1 bullpups about fire safety!

Buster Bus Assembly

Preschool students through grade 2 students learned about bus safety from Buster Bus and his Trooper friend.  Thanks to our USD #365 transportation department for sponsoring this fun, learning assembly.

MASS BAND CONCERT

Our GES Grade 6 band students participated in a halftime mass band performance at a recent football game. 
What a fun experience and enjoyable performance by our talented musicians!
