BULLPUP ACTIVITIES & EVENTS
PLAY DAY WILL BE HERE SOON
Here is what you need to know. See below.
PLAY DAY 2021 COVID PROTOCOL
Parents are welcome to attend Play Day on May 20, 2021 at the Garnett Rock Stadium (9:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m.).
Please practice social distancing at Play Day. Masks are required at all times during indoor events. Unless otherwise noted, masks are required at outdoor events if social distancing is not possible.
Parents can opt out their child(ren) from events in which social distancing cannot occur (3 Legged Race and Tug of War) by letting their classroom teacher know.
Sanitizing Buckets will be available at each event for staff to use to sanitize equipment (batons, etc.) to the best of our ability. Hand sanitizer and gloves are located in the buckets, as well.
A concession stand will be available.
Your child’s teacher will send home a schedule of events later in May.
Note: There may be additional changes or recommendations by Play Day.
GES JUMP ROPE FOR HEART 2021
Once again, GES Bullpups did an amazing job collecting. This spring over 275 Bullpups collected around $17,500 for this worthy cause. Below over 85 students earned the annual pizza party hosted by Mrs. Martin.
GES SPRING VOCAL MUSIC CONCERTS
Below is the link for the grades 1 & 2 and grades 5 & 6 vocal concerts. Thanks to Mr. Wilson and our students for sharing these songs. ENJOY!!
GES MUSIC CONCERT CHANGES
GES students will not be presenting music concerts as in the past. However, Mr. Wilson taped our students singing their winter concert songs. You can view these online concerts by clicking the link above or on the Garnett Elementary School facebook page. Thanks, Mr. Wilson and students, for entertaining us!
Students have enjoyed spirit days this school year. Recently Mrs. Pracht sponsored some spirit days in conjunction with the Online Scholastic Book Fair. Put your feet up and read a good book – Sock Spirit Day was a big success. Look for more spirit days in the GES December calendar of events.
BOWLING IN SCIENCE CLASS
Bullpup 4th graders recently enjoyed bowling outside on a beautiful fall afternoon. Students studied force and collisions for science class as they enjoyed games of bowling.
